Let's start with the good news.

I got a new camera! Yippee! It's a Canon EOS 1000D. And it's great. And I can't use it. Wohoo! *note the sarcasm...* It was a gift from my dad. It has so many functions I can't even count them. At least that's how it feels... I will most propably be putting up some new pictures here. Once I just learn how to take good ones.

Then the bad news.

I was looking out our kitchen window, and saw smoke. Like lots of it. I thought something was on fire. Like a house or a barn. So of course I have to go outside to see better. So I go outside an run to the edge of our garden, where there is a small bridge crossing over the small stream to the big field. And of course I did not realise, that the thing would be at least slippy, if not frozen. So I fall on my side on the bridge and bash my hand through the thin ice covering the stream. Now I have a few small bleeding cuts on my hand, and I can just feel the bruises forming. I can't move my hand without it hurting. Fortunately it's not broken.
The smoke was someone burning trash, btw...
